Double occupancy means two residents share one furnished bedroom within an apartment. Each person signs an individual lease, so you're only responsible for your own rent. Rates shown are per person.

Yes! We offer a limited number of parking spaces for residents. The cost is a one-time fee of $160. Spots fill quickly, so be sure to ask about parking during your tour or lease signing. 

All applicants are screened and must either provide a lease guarantor or pay a security deposit, depending on application qualifications. Deposits vary by floor plan.

Yes. We require each resident to carry an active tenant liability policy with at least $100,000 in general liability coverage. We also recommend adding personal property insurance to protect your belongings.

Yes! University Plaza is all-inclusive student housing in DeKalb, IL. Your rent covers:

There is just a one-time utility setup fee of $75 at move-in. 

​Rent is due on the first of the month and you can use either a check or money order. Payments are accepted in our on-site management office during office hours. You can also pay online using our Resident Portal.

Yes! We love pets here at University Plaza Apartments in DeKalb. 
🐾 Pet Policy: 
• One-time pet fee: $350 
• Monthly pet rent: $30/month 
• All pets must be registered with the leasing office.
